Best Philly Cheesesteak In Orlando
It’s about freaking time — Avalon Park finally has a restaurant worthy of ‘Going out of your way’ for. Up until now we have been peppered with run-of-the-mill dining establishments, that there was no reason to goto except that they were close, and usually don’t have much of a wait. Enter Briantos Hoagie shop. Thats right, this isn’t some run of the mill sub ship, this is a hoagie shop… And I will say, hands down, has the best Philly cheese steak I have had in Orlando. (And trust me, I have had a lot of Philly’s in my day).
And if you are ever in East Orlando, take the trek down to Avalon — and stop by Briantos — It’s worth the extra 20mins drive… And if you live in Avalon, You better get your ass over there — Because if they go out of Business, I will hold every Avalonian responsible, and personally make sure that my dogs crap in your yard.
Note: Because the website is a lil… Well.. ‘Not Done’.. Here is a link to where Briantos is at… Map to Briantos in Avalon Park.
UPDATE: Briantos Now has an official website… Briantos: The Best Philly Cheesesteak in Orlando check it out! Even better — Skip the website and just goto Briantos and have yourself an 18 incher eating party… You won’t regret it!

I totally agree. I checked them out on the first day they opened. I have been back 5 times since, as i had to bring all my friends and family to show them a taste of back home. Id would have been back even more if I didnt have to take half the cheese steak/ hoagie home to finish it. These guys have their stuff together. The three owners are really cool, down to earth guys. They took their Philadelphia roots and brought it to Avalon Park for us. It is truly a treat. Its the best cheese steak Ive had outside of Philly. I would be willing to bet if you put their cheese steaks up against the big time places in Philly, you would have people choose theirs as just as good. They import all their bread and meats from Philly, and found a way to get other items that are Philadelphia exclusive to make this place truly amazing. The least you could do is check this place out. Youll be glad you did.

Briantos was awesome. Those cheese steaks were unbelievable. My wife and I went there thinking that we should order like we always do at your chain sub places. We both usually get a foot long sub and I usually leave away hungry, and unsatisfied with the value of what it costs without the fulfillment. That was not the case with Briantos. Finally a place that isnt afraid to make a product worth coming back for. These guys jammed packed my sandwich with meat. My wife was able to eat half of hers and I finished mine with with such a content smile. I couldnt wait to take my wife’s other half to work with me the next day so I can show off the best cheese steak ive ever had. Unfortunately, my wife had the same idea, and packed it for herself before I could. That wasn’t a problem. It gave me an excuse to go back for dinner later that day. Make sure these guys stay open, so we can have a place we can take our friends and family and show them something truly special in our neighborhood.

I agree with the others. If this hoagie shop goes down, I will not give my business to you other businesses. This is by far the best place to eat for your buck and then some. I am embarrassed to say I wasnot able to eat my whole philly cheese. It went home with me for a later on snack. The problem with that was i wanted more and they were closed. They pack on the meat where it overflows.
You have more choices to choice from for cheese toppings. When i got the sandwich i had to pick it up because i couldnt believe the size. The philly weighed more than my 4 month old daughter!
It is definitely a place to revisit. Lets go Avalon, support the best restaurant we have!

BRIANTOS is an Awesome “NEW” restaurant inside Avalon Park, Orlando. If you haven’t been there yet, you need to seek it out. IT’S WORTH IT! We’ve tried the Meatball Sub, Philly Cheese Steak and the Kid’s Grilled Cheese. Everything was hot, delicious, and more than enough food to go around. The prices are very reasonable and, the owners did all they could to make sure our Briantos experience was excellent. We came from Ocala to try this new restaurant, and we will definitely be back. If I didn’t know better, I’d say we now have a taste of Philly right in Orlando.
Thanks guys for making our “GREAT RESTAURANT LIST.”

I absolutely agree with every comment made here.
I told my wife that I would not let this Philly defeat me, but I went down like Tyson vs. Buster Douglas. The guys at Brianto’s really seem to care that they make a great sandwich, you can see the pride they have taken to bring a piece of Philadelphia to Orlando. I implore everyone to take the time to visit Brianto’s just once, cuz that’s all it will take, and you too will crave what they make.

Thanks a lot guys, my buddy told me about this place. I live in Avalon Park, and I have to admit, I didn’t even know this place exhisted. Thanks to my friends recommendation, and your website on google, I gave it a go. I have been to Philly numerous times, and I am constantly on the search for the perfect meal everywhere I go, I am a foodie. For years, I have been relegated to making my own cheesesteak, for reasons being that most people think a philly cheese steak is supposed to have provolone, and what some might call thin sliced rib-eye steak. Well, this place got it right. They use Cheez wiz, thin philly rib-eye, complete with bread from Philly (a must), and they reseble the classic sandwich from “Pats” in Philly. I would go as far as saying this has been the best cheesesteak I have ever had!!!! Everything was fresh, steaming hot, and dripping with goodness, just like they do in Philly. These guys are an authentic hoagie shop, and deserve your patronage. I’m going back for lunch today because it was so damn good. Authenticity and quality, if these guys keep this up, they will do just fine. Really nice owners, ESPN on TV, cold Philly style Root Beer, Philly style kettle chips, what more does a person need. I am sold. Thanks guys.

I was born and raised in Philly and moved down here when I was 29 so I know what a good cheesesteak is, oh and subs are called hoagies not subs!! Briantos does it right. The amoroso rolls, the right meat and the wiz.. good stuff! The only cheesesteak I’ll eat outside of Philly is at Briantos! Everyone should go at least once if not more. ALL their food is great!
