Sweet WaWa Dreams
Growing up in Yardly, PA (’Burb of Philadelphia — Where Washington Crossed the Delaware River, Took One look at New Jersey, and said “We Must destroy this place”) I don’t remember much — But one Thing I do remember is WaWa.
I used to love going to WaWa with my parents. They would go on the weekends for A newspaper, or during the week for Lotto Tickets.. All I knew was, if I went and behaved I got a pack of Baseball Cards… (Which indirectly means, WaWa cost my parents thousands of dollars in braces from Topps Chewing Gum) As odd as it may be, for some reason those memories sticks with me to this day.
WaWa, such a happy place…
Anyways, I would like to congratulate WaWa on serving up it’s 1 Billionth cup of coffee.. Unfortunately, I was not one of those billion cups, but I’m sure when Mr. and Mrs. WaWa retire and moves to Florida, we’ll get a few WaWa’s down here — and I’ll be one of the happy SECOND billion cups. Congrats WaWa!

For as long as I can remember, my Dad has been on a search for the World’s Best Cup Holder — you know, the kind that clips to the inside of your car window. He finally found what he called The Best — a plastic WaWa model found in a flea market in the Texas Hill Country. It was collapsible, meaning it could hold everything from a 12oz can to a Big Gulp. But we didn’t have WaWa in Texas, so we were baffled with the strange name and accompanying geese. But a damn find cup holder it was.
